TOPIC: A promise to myself

Recent events have caused me to re-think my life. I have not had as much time to play on zarp as I had hoped because of the holidays. I also do not have as much time as some others because when it gets around 8:00 PM for me nobody is on the server ( and if there is they are afk.) When I heard that someone wanted to have me demoted in todays admin meeting today, I made a promise to myself that if I did get demoted I would resign. I am not going to blame anyone, as I have been considering resigning for quite some time. I feel that I am forced to go on zarp in the very little free time I have ( Believe it or not I do have a life.)

I would like to give a shoutout to all these people who made my time at zarp amazing:
- Smallville
- Earl Hickey/ Arglebargle
- Christopher
- Morgan of Freemans (In the early days)
- Bane
- ImBritish (Sorry I forgot him)
-Exro (you happy now )

I would also like to mention that if I was demoted for not doing f1s I would like to mention that I usually do them on weekdays. When I get home from school I got on duty because that is when few staff are on. Whereas on weekends lots of staff are on so I don't go on duty unless I need to.

The one thing that was keeping me from resigning was my rank. I didn't want to resign because if I did come back it would be tough to get SA again. So the demotion was the kick off of the cliff for me (thanks xhantium )

I will most likely stay active on the forums, but that may change over time. I may come on to play casually from time to time on zarp, but no gurantees. I may come back some day, but when I do not know. Thank you.

I've been told I have been given another chance as SA if I do more work. I thought the amount of what I did was fine, so either I am not up to standards or I am going un-noticed. Either way I wont be able to fix it easily. For those who wanted me demoted, you will most likely get your wish.

I also feel that I may not be wanted in the community. I know there is lots of people who like me, but that doesn't matter as much. If there are staff member who do not like how I am then I feel unwanted here.

I don't think there is much you can say to persuade me to stay. I just need time to think for myself.

I am going to make my decision in the next 48 hours.

Baron, you gotta think about this. Don't give into it, I gave into it and look where I am, becoming an "exro" and playing fucking 'Team Fortress 2' all day! When I resigned, it was like stress just fell off my back, it was amazing, really, and I still don't regret it, but man- I think you will, your have a super admin rank, something most of us (including me) could only dream about, don't throw it down a well, give it a shot.
However, it is your own choice, remember that.
