i would like to point out one thing please no one blasts with shit talking ... why doesnt everyone convert every item in their inventory to gems? And and just delete the gems? If you all of you really want a clear and clean new database aka zarp classic why not do that? If the owners don't want to do that why dont you?I've put your suggestion in the original post of the thread. Let's hope it gains a bit of traction. @Revine You're right. Not only is the economy overwhelmingly intimidating to any new player, but all the weapons and suits - while cool concepts and are fun to mess with, make it extremely difficult for any new player to get an edge. The other day I put a hit down on someone for 10 mil. Someone killed them, it was a new player and he then jumped about the place, screaming that he was rich. Do you remember the days when 10 mil felt like a lot of money? It's actually a really nice feeling, and not one you can get nowadays. This... isn't the stupidest idea I've ever heard, actually. If players deleted even a small percentage of their items/cash, we would actually have a much better looking economy, at least for a while. Though it would mean everyone's hard work would be pretty much down the drain for those who spent ages working on getting a good amount of wealth. |

Sorry for posting multiple topics, and I know this one is probably gonna be a minefield - especially as it's been made fifty billion times, but I'm curious as to what exactly happened in terms of the sudden influx of dozens of billions. I was told by someone (not naming who) that a certain gang (not naming which one) was printing with a large amount of alts and would do so for days on end. But I remember another gang doing this in the past and it didn't have half the effect. I recognise that certain printers are stronger now, and for a while, there were a lot of people buying nothing but printers and trips/quads, but I'm curious as to your thoughts. Also, side question: Are there places on the server that are unraidable? Because I'm just wondering why more people didn't raid the bases in question if this was such a huge issue. Disclaimer: Please note that I'm not making this topic to start shit. I've purposely omitted names to try to help that. I'm only asking because I'm wondering if there's any truth to the claims. Please be respectful. Also just realized I put this in general discussion and not SSRP, my bad Bunnyslippers made this suggestion to try and help amend the situation - please check it out: zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/server-is...isallow-alt-printing Sounds like a certain paramontana with his 12 alt accounts. |

TBPH, I only really keep one of each item, and that's more than enough for me. I only board things I find interesting - QEDs for example... Though that still puts me in the category of a hoarding nerd. Lol.
I think this discussion has been rather fruitful. I know a lot of this stuff has been said before, multiple times, but I think that it's a genuinely good thing and hopefully the CM team might pay some mind to what the users have laid out. Especially when it's so many of them. |

Its also great that you got the community to give a lot of common opinions. Great deed for the server . Anyone saying that any sort of alt account is allowed I disagree with. This provides a direct disadvantage to people who cannot afford another version of garrys mod, a powerful enough pc or a second pc. Make it easy and ban alts.

Yeah I agree tbh whats the point in allowing 1 alt, if you are saying the fair thing would be for everyone to use 1 alt then just double the money printers output and ban alts. That way there's no difference between people who can't afford to run 2 garry's mods at the same time. |

I appreciate everything that has been said - and while I think Fierce's idea is interesting, I feel like even if it's just a minority, it's still a group of people who won't agree to get rid of anything from their inventory.
Try convincing Sinz to get rid of his entire inventory just because everyone else has done so. I'm joking Sinz, don't kill me. Still - there are people who wouldn't agree to it. |
