never scammed or been scammed myself though people have attempted to scam me in the past, especially during peak TF2 trading days, how did you get scammed anyways?
I already feel like a dumbass while telling you how I got scammed, but I honestly had no clue. So:
I was usually always careful about scammers, so when this guy with a decent profile approached me, I heard him out in case he was an actual real trader. He said he would like to trade my best csgo skins (including an Ak47 bloodsport), for one of his M9 bayonets. Therefore, I knew this guy tried to scam me since it felt too good to be true, but then he said that he is an old trader who is overpaying because he doesn't want to trade csgo skins anymore because of the trade ban periods. He told me that I could choose a site which I TRUST (so I chose cs.money) to change my csgo skins to Dota skins which he said he wanted. At this point, I didn't think he would scam me... Ok, I got the skins which he wanted, and now he wanted me to go to "bit skins" (which was a site I trusted too) to check the "float" or something of the dota skins while SCREENSHARING through discord so he could "help" me... I just went along with it, as long as I don't trade the dota skins to him, I cant get scammed. Alright, so he made me do some things like selling a skin to bitskins and get it back to ensure that I can trust him... I kind of caught on that he wanted to impersonate a bot may be to try to scam me, but he still managed to do it in a way which totally outplayed me.... so yeah. I couldn't even report him because he instantly de-friended me and changed his name.. so yeah... rip
