TOPIC: CSGO scam stories?

I got scammed many times in many different ways the one item that makes me want to kick myself over losing would be st fn bayonet doppler P3.

back when it was really new, there were those sites that stated 'trade your skins with a value of 'XXX' and get 'XXXX' in return, dumb me thought this was a splendid deal, and handed in my karambit ultra-violet, expecting a dragon lore or something in return, several trade link attempts later i got nothing lmao. a week later the site got disbanded. dumb 15 y/o me thought it was amazing, but it was obviously too good to be true.

A very good friend of mine fell for like a "csgo item generator" software that just takes your acc and trades the shit over to the phishers account.

Fun story about that, back in the day, phishing software for things like TF2, CS, Runescape, etc, that required your username and password were so sloppy that you could refactor it and find unencrypted email and email password used to send the phished details to the phisher. You log in to it, and not only do you get the phishers account for the thing he used to phish on (Runescape most commonly) and all the stuff he took from other victims, but also emails containing details with other people who fell for the stuff.

I usually deleted all victims emails, got the phishers account banned and changed the email password.

So you see I had like a dragon lore and like csgo gambling looked pretty fun, and black looked like a pretty nice color so i went all in and lost 2 grand, It was a wild night.
