Ive always been saying that fortnite is a cartoon copy of pubg!

Nooooooooooooooooooo man how could they copy PUBG thats 4 letters and fortnite is just Fortnite they shouldnt be getting sued

The only comparisson and any actual juridicial claim that PUBG can make is the fact that they're both Battle Royale games. PUBG does not "own" that concept - nobody does.

They've made this mistake before by targetting phone games that cloned PUBG, and they're doing it again only for a much bigger target. This will not get them anywhere. They should put their time into making their game actually good instead.

Couldn't you say pubg copied h1z1 then?

The timing of Fortnite adding BR and the format is way too close to PUBG (100 player maps, air dropping the people in, weapon identicals). Their points have some actual traction and very well could make it into court with the similarities and the timing. People like to forget the creator of PUBG (PlayerUnknown) did actually bring this genre of game to light before everyone and anything after Arma 2 and Arma 3 battle royale mod (created by PlayerUnknown before every battle royale game) is just a copy of his idea and concept of the game.
