what the actual fuck... the Community managers say we're not allowed to use racist terms or discriminate in anyway. is it so hard to listen to them?
there are enough other ways to adress ur pals, then only using the n-word. don't get surprised if you get punished for disobeying.
Why are all the TTT staff who aren’t Raeker missing a good portion of their brain
care to explain?
the point, I see, you are clearly missing is that you guys simply don't care what the CM team wants from you lots. don't expect the CM team to be considerate for you, if you simply ignore their rules.
btw, your comment actually made me laugh a bit. Nice one!
I’m glad someone took my post and it’s arguments from page 2 into account.
I’ve already said plenty of times; I am absolutely okay with banning people for intentionally berating other people using racist words.
What I am not okay with is people such as yourself clearly, who will do anything to please higher ups, no matter how stupid it is. For example; banning a player who is having a bit of banter between him and a friend who he knows is okay with being called a crippled fucker. Just because that word affects your grandma’s friend’s sisters’s dad’s dog, who lost both his back legs to an IED.
Dramn, who I think is one of the greater admins, clearly stated earlier that context is everything and judging by that she will continue to punish players the way she used to.
Just to remind you I am absolutely in for banning players who try to discriminate and belittle others, what I am not okay with is the staff blaitently ignoring context just to try and get that rush of adrenaline they seem to get the second they see and click the ban button.
Context in these situations is what should decide the punishment and nothing else.
I also agree that words use in a public channel, for example OOC on SSRP shouldn’t be used to say such words to even friends who are okay with it, it should stay in personal messages and anywhere only the group of players who are okay with it can see it, what you can’t see won’t hurt you.
