TOPIC: [SSRP] Ban Apeal

Story - First of im making this i did make it in the wrong format and stuff. So im not trying to spam this.
So the idea was that me and a friend wanted to try a "scam" or more like a "joke." We wanted to make fun of how people always thinks that becouse they can DDoS they are special. So we made a house where we offered DDoS attacks for money (yes we offered to get people banned but that isnt what i got banned for so that is irrelevant to a degree). So first of yes this was a joke. We wanted to see how people reacted so we could make a little video about it. We did however not record this but only wanted to see stuff like: How would people react? How much money would people pay for this? Did anyone actualy tell us that what we were doing was wrong? Would people threatn to DDoS us? etc. So basicly we wanted gather some "research." So the first problems arrived when we (for fun) asked a mod (Iluminatix) for a DDoS program. However he thought of this as much more serius than what we intended. We used chat and we used smileys like: . So we though he had realized it was a joke. We did somewhat of the same thing when we made our "shop" we would make sure to tell them that this was for research purposes only. However only after we were done. In the case that they wanted there money back, we would give them their money back. No admins were apprently aweare of that fact.
I'm not blaming illuminatix for banning me. He did what he had to i guess. Im just saying he could have TPed me and talked to me.
Also before people say stuff like "you deserve it you threadned to DDoS the server" or whatever. Just understand that this was purely for fun and to gather some light hearthed research. We though we made it clear that we were not serius but aperently we weren't. The fault is 100% on us and i am not blaming any admins.
Proof - Nothing
Extra information - It is an RP server and this was just our way of doing RP.

Hi Sora,

Pink wasn't the person that has set the ban on you, that was me actually. While we had a chat about your textscreens before i removed them you asked me for a DDOS program, so you can "do your business" and remove logs for your "business" as described in your topic, however there was never a indication that you were actually joking about this. If you edit your topic to the correct template format i will speak with our community manager redpowder if it would be smart/appropriate to lower your ban from permanent.

If you do not use the ban appeal template correctly as others have stated this topic will be locked. The template is there for a reason we can't just go off of your word we need your steam id to look up your ban and who banned you and for what etc. so please take the time to edit this ban appeal with the correct template.

You basically opened a shop where you wanted to sell fake proof to get people banned, IN THE GAME?! That's just stupid. And then telling an admin that you want to do "your business" and ddos the server to remove information.

You should stay banned forever. Even Community Banned for this.

The reason was to make fun of how people tend to take DDoS so serius. Also you do not know the full story so you should really not make assumptions.

We take DDOS threats very seriously at zarp. DDOS' can seriously damage the server and bring it down for long periods of time - this discourages people from joining in the future. As such people who even joke about DDOSing usually recieve a permaban.

I've given this a thought and read your newly improved appeal as i said i would after the correct edit.

While i agree with everyone who commented and i personally think it is also very down right stupid to even joke about ddos'ing the server against a admin of that server i've decided to still accept your ban appeal because i do think the situation could've been a bit confusing for you and just saying this as a "joke".

This is a serious warning though, do not joke about this again.

I will set your ban back to 2 weeks so you have time to think about your actions and learn from them. (I will do this as soon as i am home)
