Punishment Reason - attempting to get someone in trouble

Story/Situation - A dude threw a nade on the lighthouse entrance, I jumped in and died to it. I reported him for throwing random nades as inno, and biosenic punished me because he thought I was trying to get him in trouble. Throwing random nades is against the rules (one of my recents if for throwing random nades) and it was in a populated area in the beginning of the round. I clarified that I did jump in the nade which makes no sense as to why biosenic punished me.

Handling

While the person throwing the nade did do something wrong you jumping into the nade to get him warned is warnable next time if he does it in a crowded place kill him if he does it again and again report it to staff members.

I get that but
1. I didn't see who threw it, so I couldn't KOS

2. I said that I jumped in it. I didn't report for the kill, I reported for the random nade. If that was a false report biosenic could've closed the report and informed me that it's not a valid reason. I didn't try to get this dude punished.

And since this feels eerily similar to the nicholas cage incident and this entire forum is blind:

I SAID THAT I JUMPED IN THE NADE IN THE REPORT CHAT. I INFORMED BIOSENIC THAT THE NADE WASNT AIMED TO KILL ME. I MADE IT CLEAR THAT THE REPORT WAS FOR THE THROWING OF A NADE IN A HIGH-ACTIVITY PLACE, RATHER THAN THE KILL

thing is, you cant report someone for doing something that is KOSable in game. its a bit like reporting a traitor for killing a detective. you can just KOS them. no need to report and make it a serious thing

This is the exact same as when you push someone off the tester and they strafe into the rocks.

Without the action by you of jumping into the nade no one would have been damaged and therefore no rules would have been broken. So yes you did false report and yes you did die just to get another person warned.
