TOPIC: [TTT] Warn + aslay by BananaSlanger

Story/Situation - Scenario is simple:
I was near the Tester, when BananaSlanger came out of it with three dead bodies. I ask him why and he defended himself good, so i didnt kill him. We were at tester together, when One player came out of bottom of the tester and started to shoot me, so i shoot him back, but by accident i shoot him (he was near death after fighting 3 people). Then even without reporting me, he aslay and warn me, without even explaining myself.
Extra Information - I really didn't want to shoot him, i just defended myself from one player and one of my bullets just shooted him.

Crossfire is still RDM. Plus the fact i was standing still in the window while you were shooting the other guy which really shows you shot me on purpose. As you aimed straight at me as you attemted to kill him.

Dear Lord Voldermort,

After reading through your appeal, I have decided to accept it, for a few reasons.

1. Whilst you did shoot BananaSlanger, it was OBVIOUSLY not intentional. Your actual intent was not to RDM, so, in a sense, why should you be punished for it.

2. Crossfire is a huge grey area, and staff constantly bicker weather or not it is RDM or not, and, seeing as I'm the one handling the case, I say it's not. Accidents happen to the best of us.

3. You obviously didn't want for this to lead to this, as you took your own time out of your day to make an appeal, leading to show you actually care for your image and the server in general.

4. This is mainly the biggest point, BananaSlanger didn't even report you and just warned you then an there, leading to an EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY bias judgement. Whilst staff are allowed to handle their own cases, or cases made against them, it's not something that should be done regularly, as it results to this. In some cases, yes, you can punish the person if it's AN OBVIOUS case of rulebreaking, but in this case, which is filled with grey areas, a report for your defense should have been made.


Hopefully, BananaSlanger will read this post thoroughly and realise that he shouldn't punish people without even opening a report against them, thus leading to them not even being able to make a defence.

This can now be closed, and I will ask a Head Admin to have that warn removed for you.

PS : Be more careful with your aim, so this doesn't happen again.

This decision has been overruled due to the fact Svanz never contacted Banana about the whole situation and rather just went with the post.
