TOPIC: [TS3] Unban Appeal

Chute and/or Para will be handling this upon their request.

Name - Roy Harper
Admins name - TheXnator
Reason - TOU
Server - TeamSpeak 3
Time - 21 days (13 left cause I was unbanned and he banned me again)
Story - We were having a laugh and I told Xnator to kill himself on GTA, there was a short gap in-between so he pulls me into a spacer which I left cause I had done nothing wrong. He moves me back in I tell him to stop harassing me, he then joins my public channel and starts telling me to stop LTAPing. I am then pulled into a spacer by Onion and Xnator and then get banned and not told anything.

Extra information - The ban should not have been given.

You were having a shitty attitude in the spacer, and I said something (can't remember what, I think it was along the lines of the fact that you would be banned again if you kept breaking TOU). You yelled "XNATOR KILL YOURSELF". About 10 seconds then passed before you said "in GTA", and by this point I had already typed the kick message and kicked you as you tried to add "in GTA". When you joined back, I took you in a spacer trying to explain to you that you had been having a shitty attitude lately, and were not following rules at all, and you would be banned if you continued, since you had just come off of about 5 different bans. Just as I started trying to talk to you, you started leaving the spacer, doing so constantly, even after I moved you back in again. LTAP is against TOU, you kept leaving, you had broken TOU enough times already, so you got banned, end of.
Do not complain that you weren't told anything, because you have been told enough times already, and you were not allowing anyone to talk to you, since you kept LTAPing.
You need to fix your shit attitude and learn how to follow rules, and you need to actually take your bans and punishments seriously, rather than just saying "OH CHUTE WILL STOP IT, CHUTE WILL LET ME BREAK RULES". We don't care if Chute lets you break rules in private spacers with him, you do not have permission from everyone in the channel to do so, and so you will be punished.

You do realise LTAP means "Leaving to avoid punishment" right? So he was leaving a channel which you brought him in so that you could speak to him thus you had no intention of further punishing him so it wasn't LTAP. So basically the kick is fine but the ban is false.

Also I don't get how it takes 10 SECONDS to kick someone but oh well

you don't seem to comprehend what happened. ever since I got demoted from ts staff you would look for the slightest thing to ban me off the teamspeak. now I don't know or care if you have a grudge against me or not, but you know very well it was a harmless joke done by MANY zarp members and was within the tou. were you offended by what I told you? no, hence why within the staff ethos you would not punish me for it, let alone the fact that IT WAS NOT AGAINST TOU

You’re being completely ridiculous If what warranted a ban was between saying “in GTA” and not saying it. all this thread is missing now is the ban wagon with their irrelevant opinions on shit they got banned for.

When I heard he got banned for this reason, I was a bit surprised - especially as there were plenty of people that don't add "in GTA" and who have never been spoken to about it.

However, I do believe the issue lies more in the fact that you, once again, refused to listen to a staff member. You seriously need to cut that shit out - when we try to tell you something, actually listen to us. Else you only screw yourself over.

I moved you into his spacer so that he could actually speak with you but then he just straight up banned you lol.

I am pretty sure that on any server you staff on, you do not take a player into a sit and/or talk to them about breaking rules if they have not broken any. It does not make sense whatsoever.

Roy would not have been banned if he just said "kill yourself xnator", since that is a very minor breach of TOU (I still would have kicked him, however).
The issue lies in the fact that he refused to listen to staff, showed a shitty attitude and constantly left the channel when being spoken to. No matter what part of TOU he had broken, I would have moved him into a spacer to tell him what would happen if he kept breaking TOU, and we would have had the same outcome.

Also, Red, the reason people tend not to get punished for saying "kill yourself in GTA" is because Chute constantly uses the "in GTA" loophole, so it would be unfair for us to punish users for it (and also Chute would probably not allow it, since he says it). I personally would still punish for saying "kill yourself in GTA" if Chute did not constantly say it, because it is technically a loophole.

I should have been banned from TS seeming I say it every now and then including another majority of TS staff too, so this kinda isn't fair and just a joke which you couldn't take.
