TOPIC: Help!

My garry's mod continually updates for hours and hours on end, but its downloading 0 bytes...
When i open my game it freezes before it loads all addons and doesnt let me continue.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Still not working.
Reinstalling didnt work, restarting my PC, router, steam and garrys mod didnt work

This happens to me sometimes and I just leave it to download, mine usually finishes in a few seconds, but what I recommend is leaving your pc on over night with the update running and see what happens in the morning.
Also try see if you drives are not full because some of my games would crash due to all of my drives being, so I wiped my pc cause I never knew what took up all the space on my drives, and now pretty much all my games never crash.

bump, no fixes work, still crashes when in game loading addons

Try deleting your addons from the folder directly so that they'll reinstall, if this doesn't help I really don't know what will glhf
