Reinstall Steam

Delete everything other than your steamapps folder and the steam.exe. Pretty sure this is what i did and it all started working.

i had this issue before and what i did was unsubscribe to all my gmod addons and then i went to taskmanager then found steam.exe then i clicked "end proccess" then i loaded back up and it worked.

remove all of your Garry's Mod files and reinstall the game. You should be good to go.

My gmod opened, i joined, my game then crashed and it now wont work again..
