Introduction

Lately a lot of people have been asking me the question "How do I improve my attitude?" and I realized that I struggled greatly in answering that question, so I decided to dig deep into how you can show a better attitude and make a guide for all users to see. These will be general tips that should help everyone but if you are still struggling with improving and showing a better attitude then you should ask the people that you interact with the most for their opinion.

In-game

When in-game you should always be friendly towards both staff and users alike. Greet people and talk to them in a nice way even if they disrespect you. Make sure you stay calm and not shout no matter what the others are doing. When you are being addressed by a staff member try to make it as easy as possible for them to handle the situation, for example, if you are being reported and you actually did break the rule admitting to it and apologizing is better than trying to lie about it and waste the staff members time. Always be mature and know when you need to be serious and when you can have fun. Don't act in a discriminatory way and follow the rules.

Team Speak

The main purpose of team speak is to talk to people so you should. Again remember to be friendly and not break the terms of use. Stay calm and don't shout even if a lot of people are speaking at once. Be kind and respectful, know the difference between being able to have fun and when you should be serious.

Forums

On the forums you should always be constructive with your posting and you shouldn't spam non-constructive posts because that can also get you forum banned. Always be kind and think again before you post something because on the forums is where you give your main image (besides when in-game). Even if what you say is negative you should still try to tone it down a bit, for example in an application instead of saying something like

Your activity is shit you are the worst mod I have ever seen :minussp:

say something like

Your activity is bad but your application is decent, I believe you could use with a bit more time as a moderator. Good luck! :minussp:

Remember to always check and see if your post passes through 3 doors:

Is it true?

Is it necessary?

Is it kind?
