I can see where you are coming from but i would argue that regardless of if you set a gang's player limit to 5, there will still be gangs that fully own the server. For example, a big gang like Standby could just split off into smaller factions and gangs creating an endless loops of gangs. Reducing the gang member limit will not do much in my opinion.

Next, you go on to say that the gang shop will be too OP with larger gangs. To combat this, could you not just make it so that the more members a gang has, the less effective the gang shop upgrades are? Like for example, the gang printer buff could work so that if a gang has 10 members, you get a 25% increase in printer profit, but if you have a gang with 15 members, the gang printer buff only gives you a 15% profit. Easier said than done but if this feature must stay in the update then at least it should work effectively for the masses

As part of our plans to increase gang activity and rivalry on the server, we've implemented a new gang member limit (thanks to AfroHat for the suggestion!), currently starting at 5 members (look out for chances to increase this limit in future updates). Alongside this, we've increased the gang ally limit from 2 to 4, so you can team up with more gangs.

Gang leaders will be given a 2 week period of time to kick members from the gang to bring the total down to 5 players. On January 2nd 2022, members will be automatically kicked to bring the total down to 5 (this will prioritize keeping Officers in the gang and will never kick the leader, however officers may be kicked if there are more than 4).

Why? This is not what the community wants

If the new players are not accepted in any gang they will get bored very quickly and leave the server

Thanks pie saved me typing it also,

Take the brother hood who used to invite new ish players into the gang so they could benefit from the gang upgrades such as the prop protection and other things, this will force a huge amount of players out of gangs resulting in loads of players losing these upgrades. meaning that why they come and try to play the server again even things like milkors will wipe their bases away.

I have never heard anything so stupid in my life, " capping gang limits will stop large groups from forming and basing as one" yeah okay unless you are going to enforce it as a rule then you have no chance, you will never stop large groups of friends basing together unless you make it a rule good luck

It would be really unfair if you're thrown out of a gang just because of the 5 member limit, It has no point in my opinion, i get that there needs to be more rival gangs but 5? Its unfair how much money people have spend and contributed to gangs to grow just to get kicked out by the auto kick system. I would've changed it max 25 people instead of a terrible limit
