⭐ Changes to our Demotions Policy ⭐
In this weeks meeting we've decided to make some changes to our demotions policy across all of our servers. These changes are mainly related to the way staff members are approached before being brought up for a punishment in the lead team meeting. Please make sure to familiarize yourself with these changes.
Whenever a staff member is brought up for a punishment within any meeting, they must have been contacted by a member of the relevant Lead Team / the Community Team. The staff member in question must have been given 48 hours of notice prior to the meeting to explain their side of the story, however if the staff member was contacted with less notice than this and has not yet responded, or was not contacted at all, they should be moved into the meeting, as long as they are currently available, and given ample opportunity to explain and outline their side of the situation.
If the user has failed to respond within 48 hours of being contacted, the vote may go ahead without the need for the user to be moved into the meeting. Any Lead Team member may also request on any demotion-related voting item that the staff member be moved into the meeting to explain as long as the user is currently available to join the meeting.
Once the vote is concluded, if the staff member is currently available on the ZARP Teamspeak server, they should be moved into the meeting for the outcome to be explained fully. This is not a requirement for members who are not currently online at the time of voting.
✨ New Minecraft Server Owner ✨
Throughout the last few weeks we've noticed a lot of dedication towards the continued development of our Minecraft Server from a certain individual. Joshua has been working hard behind the scenes to implement some major upcoming changes alongside MadMagic. He's without a doubt proven that he is capable of improving the overall state of the server, which is why we decided to promote him to the rank of Server Owner. We're looking forward to see what plans he has for the server.
⭐ NEW COMMUNITY MANAGER ⭐
Congratulations to the winner of the Community Team 21/22, Richard! And a huge thank again to all those who took part and to our players whom we love and respect. If you have a moment, be sure to send a message to our new CM team member with your congrats. We wish you all the best in this new role.
We have really enjoyed running this process not only to select a new Community Manager but to give an opportunity to a wide range of candidates to put forward their ideas and changes they would like to see. Thank you to all of you.
Give a round of applause to all those who have applied this time around. We truly respect the time, effort and aptitude of each candidate. We have been impressed by the quality of both applications and interviews from so many of you.
