TOPIC: Admins/Mods - Please open chat for reports.

I'm not naming any names here - so don't think I am targeting anyone in particular or talking about any specific case. This is a general issue.

It's very common that mods/admins will warn or slay following a report request, without opening chat. Please make sure to open chat. Players do not get a lot of space to write a reply to a report so very often lots of details are left out. So this is why it is important to open chat. Chats often are very quick so there is no good reason not to open one.

If you don't have enough space to type your reason for killing/kosing in a response then just say "open chat and I will explain" or just send a message to the admins by putting an @ before your message to let them know

Well uhm, If a report says something stupid that tells me you broke a rule I'll just warn and slay thanks, Mwah.

They really dont need to open chat every time and there are plenty of good reasons why not to. (It pops up and interrupts gameplay.) The report chats are used when the admin needs more information regarding the report or needs to tell something to the victim or suspect. If the admin feels like they have all the information they need from the logs and the response then there is no need for the report chat.

If you feel like you were wrongly punished then you can appeal it but the staff really dont need to be told how to staff.
