TOPIC: Inventory/Point Wipe Join Issue [TTT]

Hi there,

My name is Matzi. I first joined the TTT server yesterday, today being the 23rd of December. I enjoy everything about it besides one thing. All the points and items that I accumulate when in-game, all disappear when I disconnect.

I first noticed this when I disconnected and rejoined for the first time. On my first session I had gathered some snowballs and rolled 100k points in slots, along with other increments of 2.5k points etc. I bought a Hatsune Miku playermodel and some other stuff. I also got a Trevor playermodel from slots. Quite chuffed I disconnected to take a break.

But alas when I reconnected it was all gone. I tested this a few times and it was true each time. My point shop points and the items in my inventory just reset every session. Funnily enough my Advent Calendar saves and my level on the server also saves.

Below I have some proof of what I was talking about. I have included some screenshots and a video. Please excuse the video quality, I understand it is bad, but you can see what is happening and you can hear my talk. The area I live in does not offer good internet, and that quality was the only way I could upload it without taking a few days.

I understand that I am just a new player, but I do really enjoy playing on the server, so I would appreciate any help you guys could give me. If this is in the wrong forum section I apologize, I thought this was the right place. If there is anything I can do to help with this bug let me know.

Edit: I just joined the server and two other people were complaining about the exact same thing, so it appears that it is not just happening to me.

Hey again, this post is here to function as a bump, as well as give further context and proof, so it isn't just a pointless post to bump my thread unnecessarily.

I earned a significant amount of items again whilst playing for a few hours, I guess I am just lucky with slots. I recorded myself logging off and reconnecting before I am going to sleep. Of course the items were wiped. I have the recording to maybe give more context and also proof for when I hope I can get refunded.

From what I have gathered today, and the questions I have asked, this has happened to many other people. Another player also informed me that a lot of people have been complaining. I don't know how many have actually decided to make a report, so I consider this the first official report. Hope it helps with bugs.

Sorry if it seems I take this a bit too seriously, but it is quite frustrating and its messing the game up for quite a few people. Hope this helped and I hope you guys can fix this bug, as I know I am not the only one suffering from it.

This is most definitely a connection error to the database. Please check out this thread for help and information.

I appreciate that. Sad part is that this problem is not just happening to me. Hopefully we find a way to fix it for everyone.

Well i was the first to hear from it so i tried to contact Caprain. As he was afk, Max answered and i told him the problem. Chute and him checked the inventory from some weeks ago (not knowing they joined today). With the proofs, they will probably do something.

Yeah the same thing happened to me, i got 500k yesterday and a couple of skins, taunts, hats etc but then I logged back in today and all of it was gone. Don't have any proof but i know i traded my Meeseeks skin to Kyber
