1. I'am loving the new Gamemode it is amasing and well thought out
2. the ping is a problem

what does it cost to add an EU server?
what can we as Staff on surf do?
can we make it possible?

for those who would like to contribute to get a EU server. i want you to hit a support in chat because the reality is the word spreads and we lost quite a few people due to this (people who actually would love to play the new game mode but simply could not enjoy it) i would also like to refer to Diacetylmorphin post ( zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/surf/1692...-surfs-current-state )

where its been told that its understandable to try to broaden the amount of people we get have come to our servers.
but zarp cant leave the regulars in the dust. like us who has been here for quite a while it should be an equal on the other side of this. not even to mention the staff. some of them has spent quite a lot time on the server. me personally has been so exited for this game mode but now i cant even compete anymore (yes i'am not a good surfer but i feel it).

The sheer amount of passion you have for surf should get this accepted

Well basically, the server needs to be American so that Americans can join the SSRP server in order to help them leave 15 minutes later when they realize the server isn't fun. Thank you for your question!

They made a horrible choice by switching the “stable” servers such as bhop and surf to US. Theres alot of servers with these gamemodes. So why play on a server with 300 ping?

I was quite disappointed when I joined the server a week back to play Knuthulhu's new Surf gamemode. I get anywhere from 150-180 ping when playing on ZARP servers nowadays - It's not as noticeable when playing something like SSRP, quite frankly it's fine there - However Surf is just unbearable, it's choppy, laggy, and I can't make it past 3 ramps before respawning because of the latency issues fucking me over.

As mentioned before. Since the change to US there is no longer any point in playing surf on zarp. You are being held back by high ping and playing technincal maps is no longer an option.
And there is no point in saying: "We want more players" because there are none. Its been a few days now since the new update and so far only about 30% of players I've seen have been playing from US. Which doesn't mean that those 30% are new players. Zarp always had US players but the EU players are and always were in the majority.

When given the choice between playing on a more shitty server in regards to features or playing on a server with 200+ ping, there is no point in playing on the 200 ping server unless it is a server like ksf, which zarp surf is quite far away from being.

When looking through your shown data: EU counties make up 37,06% against the 28,38% of US. Even if you add Mexico and Canada to US numbers it still would only be 33,87%.

Cleaned this up quite a bit, would appreciate it if the replies from now on are respectful and actually add something to the discussion

I play with an all new low ping(150 decrease) and can confirm the ping is now a bigger issue for me more than before.

Just spoke with Dylan Mulvaney while having a bud light and they are thrilled with the sever change and are loving the lower ping on surf. From this I have no choice but to -support this suggestion. Get well soon
