TOPIC: [TTT] Demote Request - MemesGoodWithKim

I have taken the proper time both to wait for Memes to come online, and also to come to a conclusion.
Alas, I will not be able to talk to him today as he is currently inactive.

Two points need to be adressed here :

First, about the reason of the report and what happened. From what I've seen on the screenshot you provided, Memes has clearly made a mistake by spectating multiple users at the same time. But what is as clear as the mistake, is at it is :

1) A dumb but sincere mistake, tha can happen to every staff member, veterans included
2) Memes instantly saw his honest mistake and unspec its victims.

As I can understand that it affected multiple players, it only did for ONE round and no malicious intent are shown in your proof to become worried about Memes's skills and/or behavior while staffing.

Second point, about the daily work of our staff and the poor attitude they get in return from certain members.


All of our staff members try their best to provide a solid, steady and fair experience for every user that log in our TTT server. They do it completely for free, while, msot of the time, giving the priority to suers over their own playing experience.

They, sometimes, have to deal alone with a server full of players. It is, at those times, quite difficult to handle every situations correctly. Of course, because they receive a complete training and attention, we managed to handle almost everything correctly. Mistakes of this caliber have almost no consequences, as well as being extremely rare.

In return for their splendid and totally free work on TTT, my colleagues sometimes receive a lot of negative return from users both IG and on our forums, like it happens right here, right now.

While I understand the mall inconvenience users had from this honest mistake, trying to cause drama or starting petty fights over this is not really helping the team as a whole. This will not be the first it happens of course.

The Lead Team listens to all users, and also do its best to put their colleagues back on the right tracks if they abuse both rules or our community's ethos. But we will not harass our staff members, make them lose confidence and pride for such a tiny and honest mistake which, once again, could happen to everyone.

Also, and more importantly, Helen and you, Owl, are here trying to accuse Memes of more severe facts, without any proofs. While I personnaly have the growing feeling that you try to ruin a staff member's reputation, we will, (like we would do for users) not punish a staff members on claims alone. We are meant to be a fair and just staff team and community.

With all these considerations taken, your report have been :
I truly hope to not see any more reports from you about such petty things.
Instead of figthing against our staff members, please help them appreciating their job and make TTT an even more fun place to be on.

Lets get this money

Usually we don't respond to reports after they've been locked, but for whatever reason you decided to report Bezzy's earlier message. In that report you said that you are 'fed up with getting disrespected all the time' and that you 'will take action if this continues'.

I am going to make this as clear as I can: your actions and attitude within this community are ridiculous and unacceptable. You really need to rethink your behavior here. Bezzy was entirely in his right to make that message and you are by no means being wronged in any way shape or form.

These demote requests of yours are getting tiring. You're making yourself an enemy to everyone around here. If you truly think this is 'justice' then your sense of justice is perverted. You were not at all treated this way, nor were you ever demoted or brought up for a demotion for simple mistakes like slaying or fspeccing the entire server.

You want others to be treated the same way, but that isn't true at all. You feel like you were unfairly treated and now want to make everyone's time as a staff member as horrible as you can. Nobody should be demoted for this if no malicious intent is involved and it doesn't reoccur often enough for there to be any major issues.

You don't want equal treatment, you want self-gratification. And that is nothing short of disgusting.
