Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
It would be appropriate to use the ban command to deal with a player who has committed a mass RDM (at least 3 other players killed) then left to avoid any punishment. Before doing anything, I would check the player's recent warnings. If it is was the first time he does such a serious rulebreak, I would use the command to ban him for 1440 minutes. He would then have the opportunity to come back after 24 hours and improve his behavior towards other players.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
My response would be the following :
Hello X. I took note of your appeal and the sincerity of your apology. Plus, considering the great effort you have put into it, I came to the conclusion that you deserve another chance. Therefore, I lift your current ban.
However, I remind you that cheating is a serious rulebreak. I highly suggest you to give another look to our server's rules, which you can find here :
zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/ttt/46862-ttt-server-rules . We at Zarp make sure that everyone spend a good time playing on our servers, and our rules are there to ensure that. As such, you have been granted an opportunity to make up for your previous mistake. Of course, we now consider you have learned and grown from this, and expect you to follow the rules.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or any other member of the staff.
Thank you for your time. Be careful, and have fun.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words):
Following my moderator application, I have been given the chance to prove how serious I was about dedicating my time and my personality to Zarp. I have done my best, with humility, to ensure that everyone on TTT had a good time. I am an open-minded, patient and polite individual. I am confident in the work I have delivered until now, and I guarantee that I can be trusted with more powers.
As I have been moderator for a short period of time, some may think that I seek power. Of course, it is the case. In my opinion, more powers means more responsibilities (thanks for your tutelage Uncle Ben). For example, to give mass RDM and such the proper response by myself without bothering the higher staff members. But it also means a greater opportunity to help everyone. I also want, in my turn, to inspire more and more people, may they be part of the staff or regular player who seek to have a good time here.
I'm not afraid of baking some good and soft cookies
Don't mind leaving a review and telling me what to improve in my application and my current work among the staff !
