RP Name Brother Tyler Durden Link to Steam Profile steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198029538878 SteamID STEAM_0:0:34636575 Current Gametracker Profiles Server 1 - www.gametracker.com/player/Tyler%20Durde...arpgaming.com:27015/ Server 2 - www.gametracker.com/player/Tyler%20Durde...arpgaming.com:27025/ www.gametracker.com/player/Dr.%20King%20...arpgaming.com:27025/ Age 15(1999) Estimated Server Time 360+ hours. Languages I speak I am fluent in both English and Swedish, both writing and speaking. Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin. I've done and I do as many F1s as possible, I feel like I've learnt a few new things and been able to get a better understanding of how to handle players breaking rules and other issues on the servers. I've been able to watch a lot of admins and above at work to better understand in what ways I should take actions against rule breakers and how to help players in need. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). I was in a situation where a player was throwing random slams and killing people with them in spawn started threatening to get me demoted for warning him for RDM, he said he was allowed to RDM his friends and started being offensive. At the end he was screaming to the point of me being unable to hear my own word, I muted and explained that he was getting another warning for disrespect, I then warned him and he got kicked for having three warnings. If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Welcome to the ZARP staff team, as an introduction I am going to teach you a bit about the commands you will have access to and how you will use them as a staff member. These commands can be via either the tab menu or the chat, when using the chat it is recommended that you use steam id instead of their name to avoid the command running on the wrong people. F1 System The F1 System is the center of all staff work since it has logs of pretty much everything you could need and allows you to handle reports from users, this replaces the traditional submit report UI and can be opened by pressing F1. To access the logs press the logging tab, here you can view all the recent events such as kills, arrests and job changes. You can filter it using either the RP name of a player or their SteamID, I recommend trying both since one might've logged something the other didn't. If you want to view the active F1 reports select the "Admin Requests" tab. The F1s will show the name of the player that made it and the reason for making it, it also shows how long it is since the F1 was made and if someone is handling it. Here you can either choose to handle a pending request or discard a F1s that are spam or irrelevant. To handle a request right click the request and choose to handle it. From here you can also teleport to them. Once you have completed the F1 by helping the player and punishing possible rule breakers you can once again right click it and mark it as done, if for some reason you need to leave the F1 you can also abort it by right clicking it whilst it is in progress. Warning & Punishments database. By pressing F6 you can view warnings and other punishments on a certain player, you can view the punishments of a player that is currently on the server by choosing their name in the dropdown, if the player you want to check isn't online you can select search at the bottom of the dropdown and input their SteamID and it will show their warnings and punishments. Commands /warn <player> <reason>
/unwarn <player>/freeze <player> <time>
/unfreeze <player>/kick <player> <reason>/goto <player>/bring <player>/tp <player>/back <player>/backspawn <player>/slay <player>Keypad Checker The keypad checker can be used to check if an entity such as a fading door is connected to any keypads, to check if a fading door is connected to a keypad shoot the fading door with the keypad checker. If you want to check if a keypad is connected to a fading door you can shoot the keypad, here you will also see the hold timer of the keypad, the keypad needs to have a minimum timer of 4 seconds to be allowed by the rules. This sums up your mod training, for further questions feel free to contact other staff members! Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? First I would speakto the staff member that banned him and decide and make a verdict. I would then respond with something such as Tyler Durden wrote: Hi, I have spoke to the staff member that banned you and we have decided to accept your appeal and reduce your ban to 2 weeks, during this time I recommend that you read the rules and learn what is acceptable and what isn't. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words). I am active on the server and I help as much as I can, I really enjoy staff work and I feel like I would be a good addiotion as an admin. I feel like I would be able to work in a more fluid way as an admin as I would no longer be required to wait for an admin or higher when dealing with certain situations. I also feel like it would make it easier for me to assist other mods or even admins with their staff work. I have gotten a few people saying that they think I should be an admin and I guess that means something. I feel like I have a good grip on how to handle staff situations and as if I could handle the added responsibility of being an admin. |
