I posted a clip of me one-tapping Chuteuk — just as a lighthearted joke. There was nothing malicious about it, just some harmless fun over a nice shot in-game.
But instead of laughing it off or just letting it slide, Clarky decided to take it personally and turn it into a big deal. Next thing I know, there’s drama, and the thread gets locked without any explanation. As a forum admin, you’d think someone could separate their personal feelings from their role — but here, it felt like the opposite. We’re all playing the same game, and sometimes you’re on the receiving end of a clean shot — it happens to everyone. Taking it so seriously and reacting unprofessionally to something that was obviously a joke just makes the situation more embarrassing than the clip itself. At the end of the day, this is supposed to be fun. If a harmless video is enough to start arguments and shut down threads, maybe the problem isn’t the video… zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/darkrp/16...in-garry-s-mod-1-v-1 |

+support chute is just salty cause he's the server owner and still gets owned. Insane what state of corruption this community has become. Back in my day there would be 4-hour long democratic meetings about these decisions.

Chute did give us the files in the end, just not in the format we had hoped. I'm still flabbergasted at the uncompressed 200gb winrar file he sent and how he did it. He probably stuffed nudes of him and emp having shower sex in it as well for all I know. |

Over time, it has become increasingly clear that ZARP’s administration is no longer what it used to be. Back in the days, the rules were consistent, fair, and applied equally to everyone. This created a community where people actually enjoyed being part of discussions, and where staff members were respected for leading by example.
Today, things look very different. Instead of standing up for themselves or engaging in open dialogue, certain admins for example, Clarky.. simply resort to muting players and deleting posts left and right. It’s not about enforcing rules anymore, but about silencing criticism and protecting themselves from any form of accountability. What’s worse is that admins can say whatever they want without facing consequences. Regular members are punished for speaking their minds, while staff get away with behavior that would have been unacceptable in the past. This double standard has created frustration and distrust among long-time members who remember how things used to be. The community was once a place where fairness and respect were the foundation. Now it feels like those values have been abandoned in favor of censorship and unchecked power. If nothing changes, more and more people will lose faith in the staff team, and the community will continue to decline. |
