TOPIC: My Feelings with SSRP and being Staff

Over the past week or so since i was given my position of staff I've lost and gained immense respect for players, people and made some amazing new friends. Now this isn't exactly a resignation i guess just a post to vent and let my feelings out. Stop reading here if you don't care.

My first week of Moderator was fine, however coming into this week things have been very off and unpleasant and has shown me the real respect staff deserve. I remember as a user i would bitch and complain staff weren't efficient enough, now that i am one i see the time consuming part of it. I've maybe squeezed 30 hours of role play in since I've been mod. I find it insanely annoying when players want to scream about not helping because you're busy doing other stuff. It's finally got me to a point were I'm having to mute people they spam chat that much. The staff team as a whole is putting a great amount of effort to keep the server running, and the player base happy. Unfortunately players believe we shouldn't get any RP time instead make the server perfect. Which we just can't possibly do. I really do think players need to learn the respect staff deserve for the effort they put in especially the Lead team they are always doing something useful. I also believe certain members of the staff team need to grasp the word TEAM because i see lots of competition to get to a higher position quicker and more F1's. I think the community all needs to come together and accept we try our hardest and as soon as we all try to work together which means, waiting for your F1 to be handled, not insulting others in OOC and the staff all working together! If someone asks to help with F1's help. I know this isn't going to happen instantaneous but i hope this post might shed light on the users that always want to spam OOC and the staff that won't do F1's now it's Christmas, let's all get together at this Christmas party and becoming a whole community and work together!

I get where you're coming from. When I was a user I always complained about staff not doing shit, but when I got mod I was surprised how much rulebreak there was and how they did their best to maintain the server. Wise words Kingpin, this was needed to be said!

The thing with me is not staff personally {even though i do call them out sometimes} but its the staff SYSTEM itself. the fact that you guys take ALL your staff members to train like 3 people is ridiculous and with how much staff this server has we should DEFINITELY have f1's answered faster than they do.
