TOPIC: I just survived a hurricane

From the subject, I am sure you already know what I am going to say... but today we had a hurricane pass over us. It wasn't major like Hurricane Sandy or Katrina, but it certainly is dangerous. Buildings in the city collapsed under windspeeds over 140 km/h, so it's a category 1 hurricane (the weakest one). Luckily, I live in the suburbs, so it wasn't that severe, but the house is flooded... You may ask why I am posting this. Well, I posted this because it will obviously affect my activity. The hurricane will last until tomorrow, so hopefully I shall survive another day unscathed...

- I think It would be more accurate to call it a cyclone, considering it originated from the Indian Ocean, however there is no difference between cyclones, hurricanes and typhoons, aside from their place of origin.

Nature sucks, sorry to hear your house is flooded and I hope you and your family are safe while the storm is in affect. Don't worry about the activity, it's understandable and sadly things like this happen.

Katrina went by my archipelago some months ago and I also got to experience some of that nature's wrath. I hope you're okay man
