TOPIC: Slinging ma hook

Hi all,

I must regretfully announce I will be stepping down from my role as Community Manager.

In short, I am stepping down as I am struggling to keep on top of what is expected of me as a Community Manager. I am spending a lot of my time working hard in my IRL job as I'm keen to progress into a more senior role, I have recently moved into my first house which I will be investing a lot of time & effort into and finally I still need time to myself and my close friends.

As gutted as I am, I see no other choice but to step down. I don't want to end up becoming inactive and have you guys complaining. My time as Community Manager was short-lived, admittedly, however it has to be done. I've delivered a lot of things I promised to deliver and help set up things that I hope my former colleagues can set up in my absence.

ZARP has a special place in my heart and I want to thank some people individually for making my time here memorable..

As for everyone else: It's been an honor gents!

Its a shame seeing you go this early (as I am only just getting the rank). You was a cool dude even though we had some ups and downs but always manged to have a laugh at the end. Sad to see you go and sad I didn't get to work with you. Hope you all the best on your new job role and hope to see a good bye party at your gaff soon! Hope me and jim jam do you proud! Thank you for everything throughout the last year of my staffing experience in the community - You’ve been a great person and a good friend all this time and was always there to help me. Hopefully, we stay in touch, and maybe even meet since I’ll be close to Scotland this Summer. Farewell man!

It's sad to see you go. I remember discussing becoming Community Managers on a forum thread during the vote that originally elected Clarky and DEADMONSTOR. A little more than a year later (unsure about the exact time tbh) and you got the position you wanted - I mean, that's pretty impressive.

If only there was a way to somehow increase the number of hours within a day, allowing us to make room for stuff like this. The reasons I've left the community previously all included time or schedule clog-ups and this looks to be the underlying issue for you too.

Anyhow, it was great knowing you and I hope you visit the forums every once in a while. Good luck on sorting out everything you need, as well as any future endeavours you choose to take on. Cheers mate.
