TOPIC: My Sincerest Apologies

I've known you for quite a while, and if writing isn't for you, i would suggest you to be more open minded about your choises and talents. I've heard you speak and i believe a podcast would suit you quite well as an alternative.

Keep in mind that writing is a draining process: You start with a thought in your right brain; you take that picture you have into your RAM (that holds as much memory as a phone number) to translate it into analytical words. Since the RAM doesn't hold many bytes of information you'll output a few words before stopping because now you're going to redo the process again; hence why writers write a chunk, stop and then start again. You also need to have your prefrontal cortex (which is considered to be the smart & conscious part of your brain) be consistently active of the through out the day; so you don't let the "monkey" inside of you take over. This process is a skill that would take alot longer to reshape your brain into becomming as efficient as possible. It's quickly summed and there's more things behind the scenes though it's just to give you the idea.

Summed up - It's basically an extensively heavy process, which requires a large chunk of your brain to cooperate which in a sense, doesn't really come naturally as you initially thought. It's alot more demanding than drawing pictures for instance and requires determination & discipline potentially for many years ahead.

However I want to note that you shouldn't give up on your dreams. You might be having the biggest doubts in your lifetime but if you manage to get through them you'll be alot more proud of yourself instead of than giving up. I read most of the things you write on Zarp and I believe that you can do it with some more work and less spent on Zarp. Good luck either way.

Anyways, in my opinion, you should take a small inactivity and sort everything out before it becomes worse. I am not even close to you, but you should avoid making it worse for yourself

You don't need to apologise. If anything we should apologise for keeping you away from your studies which are much more important.

Also don't apologise for deleting Deathrun. It was an accident and i'm sorry if I made you feel bad about it.

I've been a bit of an argumentative prick recently towards you and I'm sorry for that, it was due to me starting to notice a more on-edge change in your personality which I thought boiled down to becoming a CM but in actual fact it appears there was a lot more going on behind the scenes so my bad for that since I probably contributed to it with my attitude.

Believe me when I tell you that I'm saying this with no malice whatsoever and only good intentions in mind, I genuinely believe the best thing for you to do right now would be to resign. When you put things into perspective, you currently hold a role in the community where you can be replaced at any time (although they probably won't do as good of a job), you hold no truly vital role in the community and you receive no payment as far as I am aware. This community will only last so long, I give it a maximum of 3-4 more years and that's most likely a stretch (hopefully not though). There are Garry's Mod server owners making up to $5,000 a month purely off their Garry's Mod server, hitting upwards of 100 players daily and they put far far less effort into the server than you do in a community which you don't even own.

Sometimes we put a lot of unnecessary pressure on ourselves when holding positions such as yours and we tend to forget the insignificance of them until we put everything into perspective by taking a step back and looking at the actual facts of the position, the feeling that you must get when your work is appreciated after you help people and make them happier is probably amazing, but when it starts to make you unhappy and interfere with your life the only way to really release yourself from your self-imposed shackles is to just take a step back and come back later when your head and your life is in a better place.

So as I said before I honestly mean this with the best intentions in mind, I think you should resign and come back later after sorting your life out.

Still the best CM. Keep it up, you've helped a lot of people in the community, and even if you can't keep all your promises and do everything that everyone demands, you're doing more and better than anyone could have expected.
I know of quite a few people who would have left the community due to certain issues if it weren't for a couple of CM Team members, including you.

As someone who not too long ago had to regrettably make a similar choice, I can only say that you just have to keep moving forward as looking back does nothing. It's undeniable that you have done so much for the community already since becoming a CM and I believe you still have more for you to accomplish both in the community and in your own life. Do what you feel is best whether it be an inactivity notice, a resignation or maybe even nothing; entirely your choice mate. Pretty exhausted ngl so don't know if this made sense or not but anyway carpe diem, Raeker!

With my Uni coming at the end of this summer , i can understand your situation , but at the end of the day your lifes comes first . Take a break to fix what you need
