Didn't think I would actually end up writing this post so soon, but here we go.
I've been with ZARP for nearly two years now, and in that time it has helped me with so many things, primarily the chance to be able to develop on my skills in regards to communication and coding. ZARP has been a large part of my life for this time, and I have been able to cope a lot better for the most part with mental health problems as well due to what I have been doing here. For all that, I am truly thankful to the community as a whole, and I do not regret my time spent here in the slightest.
Regardless of how much I have enjoyed being a part of ZARP and what I have been able to do, I feel that it is time for me to move on with my life, with all of the changes that I have been making in my life recently. I'm spending a lot more time with close friends, more time working on other projects outside of ZARP and have been putting a little more focus into my school life, with which I have started to put less time into ZARP. When I started having a break in order to spend more time with friends and focus on my mental health, I was starting to consider resigning and leaving the community due to how much happier I felt, but I didn't think I would actually end up doing it, or that I would do it so soon.
Without further ado, I'll get into the obligatory thank you list:
ChuteUK:
You're the main reason I felt I was able to stay with the community for so long. You've always been a huge inspiration to me whilst I've been here, even if we have had the occasional disagreement. Everything you've done for the community and the morals that you (mostly) uphold are outstanding, and I hope you continue running the community as such.
EMP:
RIP to the #Xnator4CMDev campaign. Likewise to Chute, you're also a huge inspiration. Even if you don't always show your face in the community, you're still doing a lot and you uphold some excellent morals for running the community. Hopefully we see that update you promised soon
Tyler:
#Tyler4CO. You're an extraordinary Community Manager, and you do shit loads for the community. As a person, you're the easiest member of the Community Team to talk to, and you put in loads of work to the community. You've helped me out a lot when it came to working on my development skills, and I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am now if it wasn't for you. Keep it up and Chute and EMP better give you Community Owner eventually, because I'm sure you'll continue to do an amazing job for the community.
Captin:
I've disagreed with you a lot on many things, however that does not change the fact that you are an excellent guy and an excellent Community Manager. You want what's best for the community, and I can respect that. TTT was the reason I originally came to the community back when it was owned by you, Max and Tyler, so I can give you credit (or blame) for getting me here to begin with.
Luki Guki:
The greatest Swede and the greatest Server Owner I ever worked with. Working with you on Murder and Prophunt (you worked with us so closely you were essentially Server Owner there too). Hopefully you come back to the community one day, and if you do, they better give you back Murder - you could boost the player count there instantaneously. One of the few people I would say I was actually "friends" with in the community, and you'll always be my bitch.
Grumpy Marshmallow:
You were a shit Prophunt Owner. Nah, you did a good job when you were active, and it was a tough decision on whether to work with you and Luki on that one. Whilst I probably would have gone with Luki if he had been more experienced with high ranks at the time, I do not regret the decision of working with you guys on it in the slightest.
OnionRings:
Keep it up with Surf man, you are doing a great job. Sorry I couldn't do more for you as Server Developer, but if you do ever need me to tell you anything, just contact me and I should be able to give you a hand. The update I gave you should be relatively easy to edit for new updates and events, so try to keep those consistent.
Annie Montana:
Still not entirely sure of my opinion on you, but I still want to thank you for all the work you've put into Deathrun, and for allowing me the opportunity to work alongside you as Server Developer and Server Owner. Don't let the server die out.
Corgi:
I have disagreed with you on a couple of things, however I believe that for the most part, I agree with most of your opinions. You uphold some excellent morals, and you are kind to everyone. Keep that up, and I am sure you will make it even further in the community. Despite your lack of time here, you're doing a great job as SSRP Head Admin, so keep it up.
Stewie:
You haven't been here long, but you are surely an excellent Super Admin, and have helped out a lot on Prophunt. I wish you the best of luck with your future, even if you can't stay with the community for much longer. I hope to see you as a Prophunt Head Admin soon if you do stay with the community, but I can accredit a lot of Lead Team work on Prophunt to you, so thank you for all that.
Getzco:
Still not sending you the Surf gamemode or Onion will literally slaughter me. You've changed a lot since you came back from your Community Ban, and you better apply for Surf Head Admin soon (and Onion better get you accepted). I hope to see you get a lot further in the community, and to help out on Surf just like you want to. Keep working hard and I'm sure you'll make it to where you want to be soon.
Raeker:
Racist.
I don't have much to write about anyone else, because I wouldn't really say I was "close" to anyone in the community in regards to being friends, but I still want to thank the following people:
Nickolas
Wolfi
Windows
Clarky
Rebekah
Shadow
Aek177
Chienman
Max
Paramontana
Anna & Akemi
Sophia
Sally Skobo
Johnler
hazzenator
Patrick (the shit one, not former CM, you know, the budget Server Developer who calls himself "SSRP Mapper")
Bitchboy Roy
YIM YAM MY BABE SORRY I FORGOT YOU
If you don't see your name here, either you're a cunt and I hate you or I'm big dumb and forgot about your very existence, which you should definitely take as much offence to as you are physically capable. I mean, a lot of people in the community are cunts but that's just how people work and is to be expected.
I may return to the community one day, whether to staff again or just to pop in and say hi, but for now, this is my resignation and leaving post.
