What I'm not sure people realize is that in a forum meeting each application isn't voted on individually and staff in the meeting just pick there preferred candidate. In actuality this means that many people weren't denied per se it's just that another candidate was deemed to be better. Overall this doesn't mean that people who don't get accepted are bad candidates, people could still be very good candidates.
