Can't open the game. I press play and immediately get "hl2.exe has stopped working"
Looking for a fix but not sure how long it'll take so might have some inactivity on the servers themselves this week.

you could go on properties and 'verify integrity of game files' you could also go on task manager and close any 'hl2' already opened. If not just reinstall

Figured the issue was to do with graphics drivers since those were a bit broken.

Spent a couple hours fixing them.

Gmod still broken.

Good things that have come out of this:
  • Cleared out my hard drive
  • Cleared out my emails (and found the "mark as seen" button on my new web client)

First day I haven't done my job at all ingame and only on Teamspeak and I'm bored as all fuck, despite spending most of the time trying to fix my PC. What the heck do you lot do with your lives to not be bored out of your minds?
