How would it benefit the server:

Users can reduce lag for themselves when in a large base.

Potential Issues/Exploits:

If anything this fixes them.

Additional notes:

Users can be given option to disable turn off particle effects for special printers as an example.

but they havent even done the "summer" update yet that was promised, so they wont work on this anytime soon I don't think
