TOPIC: [SSRP] Spawn protection

Server Name: SSRP

Suggestion Title: Spawn Protection

How would it benefit the server: Stop mass RDM/RDA at spawn.

Potential Issues/Exploits: As spoken about by other users.

Additional notes: Make players invincible and unarrestable while in spawn. When a player leaves spawn, they are no longer invincible and unarrestable while in spawn.

People in spawn should just be granted god mode, given a salary of $10,000,000 every second and when they leave get given a ban.

Sorry aha but this has to be the worst idea I have every heard since edible uranium (Sorry Bunny xD) but this can be abused like crazy, eg; Player X is shooting Player Y( who is a cop ) Player Y doesn't know of the "spawn protection" and continues to arrest Player X in spawn, This results in Player Y getting kicked for a non rule breaking offense.

Sorry for that I didn't mean to shit all over your idea I do understand where you are coming from but maybe think out your idea more and then make a post of it in the future, but also please use the template to make a suggestion. Link To Template

Alright then, make it so only when you spawn you get this. As soon as you leave spawn you aren't invincible at spawn anymore.

Right, here's a few adaptions to my first idea.

1. Exploiting spawn protection to escape being wanted/having hits
When returning to spawn, nobody will have spawn protection.

2. Players receiving hits while they're under spawn protection
This is uncommon so doesn't require much thought. However, when a player receives a hit, their spawn protection is revoked.

3. Shooting people out of spawn from spawn
When a player shoots a weapon, their spawn protection is revoked.

4. Stores/bases directly next to spawn
See addition 1.

5. Invincible stores inside spawn
Stores that are in spawn are usually used to sell high-tier items from what I've seen.
