Server Name: All SSRP Servers

Suggestion Title: allow staff members to warn offline users idk if it possible but hey it a suggestion

How would it benefit the server: it will allow staff members when they handl a warning appeal in the forms and got accepted to warn then even when offline so you dont have to wait until they get on and that they might not never do imagine the user being in a vacation for 3-4 weeks when he comes back the staff member will totaly forget him unless they note that some where.

Potential Issues/Exploits: staff members warning people when they ltap insted of banning them

Additional notes: it a good feature that might help to make things easier

I can see a few ways of why this would be good and bad

Pros:
- Staff can warn the user and we are then notified of their recent warnings which help decide their fate in the aspects of applying.
- Reaching recent limits means we can ban the user, if the user is offline and we're unable to warn they may be able to come back again some later time and affect the communities' game time - doing so will let us then ban the user for their rule-breaking and allows every to enjoy their game time on the zarp servers.
- Sometimes warning Steam IDs doesn't always add to their warn count (not sure why)

Cons:
- False warning is a definite possibility
- If this suggestion was commenced, say a staff member warned someone for RDM, the staff then leaves but didn't handle the report, another staff comes on, sees the report and gives the user a second unfair warning for the same reason.

Edit : you can solve all the problems if you warn some one who is offline it does show in there recents that the warning he got was when he was offline that way people will know and ofc you also can say for example the reason was rdm you do /warn "steamid" rdm (the reason why you warned him while his off mostly it gona be appeal accepted)	VeGoVeVO Offline Gold Boarder Posts: 1630 Thanks received: 306 Karma: -39

this really, a warning is to point out what he's done wrong, and a 1 minute ban will have the same effect since the player in question isn't really forbidden to play for a period of time.

true this is just a idea could be edited as they like but in my opinion it a good one and btw to point out what he did wrong when you type /warn steam reason you can add (link to the accepted appeal)

This would be pointless like many people pointed out (even me) you can just ban em for 1 min and like Sam pointed out this could be abused by false warning people. And even if they ltap just ban.
