TOPIC: [SSRP Suggestion] CDM rule change

Server Name: SSRP 1 (possibly 2 and 3)

Suggestion Title: CDM rule change

How would it benefit the server: It actually makes sense

Potential Issues/Exploits: Mutants getting cars and running over every hobo or people in PD/warehouse district which I think would be fine anyway.

Additional notes: Currently the CDM rule for server 1 is:

3.1 a CDM Server 1 - You must actively avoid killing players, this included the road and pavement.(please note this can sometimes be unavoidable due to lag. Please make sure you take this into consideration before punishing players)

For years now, I thought it meant that I can not randomly run people over, but I was told a couple months ago that it means ALL CDM is banned. Think of this, some hitman is trying to claim my bounty whilst I am in my car, the current rule means that I must exit my car, grab a weapon then shoot him which I would probably be already dead by that time due to the damage I received in my car. I believe the rule should be changed so that I can run people over with a valid reason, so instead of having to get out, grab a gun then shoot, I would just be able to run the guy over. There is already a lot of random CDM, and even if there is increased amounts of random CDM, the staff can still deal with it and treat it like an RDM sit.

It's stupid how I can't run ANYONE over, you might as well no collide all cars or stop them from doing damage to players if this is denied/ignored.

Make it like S2 and S3 where if you're on the road it's fine if on the sidewalk not fine

However this may see a rise in CDM with users just lying about why they did it.

I just run people over when they decide to shoot at my car regardless of what the rule may say.

I think the rule is fine, there hasn't been a lot of trouble to do with it, only my opinion no hate pls.
