Actually a good idea, possibly having even more currencies to make it even harder to know which one is going to go live. You can still buy spins with all of the currencies. For example; Gems will cost 5k per spin whilst Minerals cost 1k. The next event it will cost 2.5k minerals while costing 1k gems and maybe only 500 for another currency, this will add alot of diversity and you won't stack up on gems if it only was 1 currency each event.

There is no need for an extra currency. What is needed, however, is an economic pool of items that you can spend the currencies we already have on. Both EMP as well as Chute have repeated this several times when people claimed the economy was broken. I don't see an extra currency getting added, ever.
