TOPIC: SSRP Suggestion Better Income for certain classes.

Suggestion Title:Better Paychecks/income for classes that have terrible income rates.

How would it benefit the server: By allowing certain jobs to still make reasonable income it will allow players to choose the job they like to play while still having good income. I.E Swat leader (I mean seriously how are you supposed to make any reasonable income as law enforcement?) Since it seems the only classes worth really playing that make you any money are Thief, Drug dealer and anything that can print. So either we increase the paycheck amount for those classes or we increase the money they gain from doing acts of law enforcement.

Potential Issues/Exploits: AFK Paychecking (If this route is chosen. Like a bunch of alts with high paycheck sources just afk for a long time)

Additional notes: I currently do not have rates for pay checks or the multiplier for law enforcement actions.

It is needed because as ace said, the only defined way to make money is by printing only which makes a bunch of jobs basically non playable because they either can't print or make drugs making many sources of income lost.w

This will help people to play other classes without feeling income deficient, allowing them to enjoy what they like to play while feeling rewarded.

and for the love of god please explain why it is not needed. I hate people who say it isnt needed then flat out do not explain why.

Seems like a good idea and all. But I think for certain classes it can become OP depending on how much each class gets.

If you need more money you can just be a drug dealer and grow mushrooms and print money at the same time so i think this is not needed right now.

The entire point of this is to make the server enjoyable and rewarding with the other jobs.

I will chance my opinion since i thought about it for a while and readed the whole post. It is not a bad suggestion!

So rewards while playing what you enjoy is not needed?

This would be a nice way for new players to actually earn a bit of money via paycheck as the amount earned is next to nothing at this point.

I dont think the main income should be from the paycheck because you can earn money other ways

The paycheck is one way to have the income, for cops I would say increased payout from finding crime.

I'm just looking for ideas here so feel free to think up some.

There are many different ways to RP and make money while doing so. You can be a cop and catch criminals and get rewarded, you can open a casino as a shop owner/citizen, you can be a guard and get payed by your boss, you can print with jobs that allow you to/make drugs/plant carrots, melons, weed, or shrooms, you can mine rocks and sell them to the Miner NPC, convert them to gems, or craft items, you can craft items to sell or use them, you can raid bases, you can do toll gates as a hobo, you can steal cars and scrap them at the Chop Shop, you can scam, you can be a priest and take donations, you can be a beggar as a hobo, you can get hits as a hitman... I don't see the paycheck to be the main source of money, it's fine as it is in my personal opinion.
