You can just schedule events as you like, this is already an idea hazzenator suggested. Just make a thread in GD when you want to host one and away you go.

I feel that what happened last night with the post on the forums did go very well and from the feedback I have received everyone liked it. It was hosted in the karaoke room, which worked well, but I don't see why a new channel couldn't be added for the events to be held in.
