If the trap is already activated you can crouch under them.
this is a risk/ reward thing . if you walk under it and the trap deactivates and retracts you get the risk of getting killed. Though if you crouch in steam works before the trap is activated and you wont get hit . that will be classed as a exploit |

The green is what the suggestion explains. The case says that the suggestion stated that crouching under the piston when is activated is classed as an exploit apparently. The bold and striked out bit isn't what the suggestion is talking about. |

Basically what is happening is that the pistons on Minecraft can kill you even if you crouch under it but from what I know the minecraft pistons are not even an exploit, but on steam works you can crouch under the pistons and survive it but when you exploit that trap by crouching under it what would be the point in that trap being in the map? it is an exploit because deathrun map exploit rules try to make it as fair as possible so that you have a chance to die at every trap so it has been denied because being allowed to crouch under a piston would cause an unfair advantage against the death side, I hope this clears it up a little.
