TOPIC: [Bhop/Deathrun/TTT] [Suggestion] EventRun

Before starting, I want to mention that I have shared this idea with a lot of people and, based on the feedback that I got, I would like to share it with everyone.

During the holidays, I've been thinking on a way to make the pointshop servers more enjoyable (overall). So, let's go:

Suggestion Title: EventRun

The Suggestion: As the name implies, this is a run through certain events. The suggestion that I want to share is that for every event that happened (either in the video-game industry, the film industry, the world in general,etc), the pointshop servers would receive content that is related to that event (Player models, Crowbar Skins, Trails/Auras, Default Player Models and Acessories). You might think "That already happens in a way" and you are right, it does. But I'm not only mentioning things like Chirstmas and Halloween. Besides those obvious ones, I'm also talking about a lot of the hype releases that are happening this year. I've been working on a list of the events that are currently planned for 2016 along with its respective content and I'm going to share it here so we get a clear idea of what I'm talking about.

Now, let's say that this content stays available for everyone for a certain amount of time (lets say 1-2 weeks). After this amount of time, only VIP players could purchase the items or use the crowbar skins.

How would it benefit the servers:
-The Pointshop servers would feel "alive" in a way. It wouldn't feel "forgotten" since constant content would be coming out and its popularity may increase.
-Besides from inspiring people to get VIP, it would also give VIP players a lot more stuff other than Auras and Double points.
-It would also hype people not just because X game/film was coming out but also hype them because the Pointshop would get new items.
-It would encourage the use of the trading system, since it is clearly only used for auras and Halloween Items. People could ask a certain VIP player to give X item in exchange of points or other items.
-A lot of players don't have anything to buy with the current points. This would give them a lot more choices and chances to do so.

Potential Issues/Exploits:
Red means all of the servers
Blue means TTT

The amount of content would be imense at some point, bringing lag along with it.
The only viable solution that I can think of is to delete content that people enjoyed the least. For example
, if no one or very few player purchased the items from an event than it would be deleted. As for the content that people enjoyed a lot it could just sit for the VIP players.

The download for the new players would increase significantly.
This is inevitable, there's no possible way of avoiding this issue. It may became frustrating for new players to sit and wait a long time to get in the server.

Broken Hitboxes
Some models have completly broken hitboxes, which means that these had to be tested out. We could still implement the models that are completly fine, though it is a bummer...

Additional Notes: Yes, I do understand that this would require A LOT of work and it would also give constant updates to the servers. I believe that the Lead Team would much more likely spend time and effort on updating SSRP rather than the other servers, since it gives way more profit than Bhop, DR and TTT and it is also the server with a gigantic playerbase. Still I'm sharing this in the off chance that this gets looked at and that it gets discussed atleast. It's a lot of trouble and I will fully understand if this doesn't get looked at or if it gets denied completly.

Nice suggestion! Would love to see some of these skins added! All of the ideas are cool and if they're on the steam store I'm sure its possible for them to be added!

Looks interesting and would bring a lot of variation to the servers and make the pointshop more vibrant seeing as we only get one or two updates a year. However like Blocked said there would be almost too much to download all at once and could be too much work than its worth to change every few months or weeks.

This is a very interesting idea, my only issues with it is that it could be a little bit of a hassle to remove and add player models constantly plus if they were to keep the player models imagine how heavy the download would be if a new player were to join.

And also i think its gonna be hard to get the player models for some people cause player models i usually pretty expensive for newer players
