TOPIC: A rules clarification "when cops shoot"

With regards to cops.
I have been told by Admins in the past that I was only allowed t return fire.
They said that I needed to be shot at by a big gun to shoot back as I was
only allowed to arrest for the big gun being out. However when I was shot
for holding a big gun by a cop I was severely told off for certain things but
more importantly that he was allowed to shoot.

Separate thing but it may as well be in the same post If you are killed in the
spawn district and the fastest way out of that district is through your death
then are you allowed to go through the point of your death?

No cops can only shoot in self defense

See what I mean two different answers and have had
two different answers from two SAs

Cops may open fire in 2 different scenarios:

• The wanted person is firing on them
• The wanted person poses a direct threat to another citizen's life in any way

The latter basically means, if they're shooting at any other cop, or person, it's ok to kill them. It's a logical conclusion to reach as a cop, your job is to protect the populace, so you need to kill the wanted person to defend them.

As for the second one,

I'd say it was allowed, since NLR applies to districts, but the kicker is you shouldn't interact with activities before your death, such as wanted people or bases.

would you all say that both of these could do with being added to the rules?
