Server name: Deathrun 1/2.

Suggestion Title: Chat suggestion

How would it benefit the server: The staff can warn the dead runners that are ghosting in the team chat of the runners. Example: If there is one or two staff in the death team and there is no staff in the runners team they can't see the team chat of the runners, so the dead runners can easy say information like: Right portal. It can help for disrespect full players to.

Never thought of this but that is a very good point robinn!

Or go full TTT commando and restrict dead players from communicating with alive players and that will decimate 75% of the Ghosting.
The other 25% is Skype, Steam; you get the picture.

Sounds like a cool idea to stop ghosters.

This completely removes the communication between the two teams, it would spoil a lot of the fun of the gamemode because people enjoy speaking to one and other. Anyways, there's no way to effectively stop ghosting as you can't restrict them from using Steam, Skype, TS, etc to ghost. Most of the time it's on accident and this is where you come in to tell them the rules.

i like the idea but team chat is there for runners and deaths to talk to each other without knowing what is going on with the other team.

deaths for example could devise a plan on what buttons they will use and go on to trick the runners ending there round even faster.
runners could also make a plan or an order of who will go first and who will bait the next trap.

i know it would be useful for staff to see the team chats but most players will report ghosting if it happens and if we did see the team chat we would have an unfair advantage as we would know what there plans are.

I have to aggre with Bickels, that we maybe get some information we shouldn't know. It's a pretty cool idea but i don't it'll work.

This would give staff the advantage if we were alive.
And give information that we should not know!

This could give advantages to the staff members but here is what could really happen it seems that a staff member is a death and their a runners they have an idea but the staff member can see what they are about to do so this could give an massive advantage to this staff members, and plus most of the people on the server don't use the team chat and most of the time there is most staff on the runner team and death team.

Only give the staff the ability to see the deaths chat when the staff are dead?
