TOPIC: [SSRP Suggestion ] Translating the !motd

Server Name: SSRP server 1 and 2 (can be implemented to all servers if this is a issue there too.

Suggestion Title:
translating the motd and or the rest of the interface
How would it benefit the server: this would benefit the server by enabling non English speakers/readers to read the rules in the language they understand there fore less rule breaks because of rules that they can't read

Potential Issues/Exploits: none that I can see

Additional notes: if possible you could add a Drop down menu (saying choose a language in all different languages) that you can choose your language and then that language could be translated all around the zarp interface. The only reason I am suggesting this is because I and a couple of other staff members have had experiences with people that don't know th rules because English isn't their native language so they don't understand it that well if at all.

this is a really good idea because if someone didnt know much english they may not know all the rules proplerly but if they could read it without error there would be less rulebraking but an issue could be that it wuld take the piss translating

It's an English server anyway. They shouldn't even be on here if they can't speak English :/

I'm against this suggestion since if they can't speak English, they shouldn't be on an English server except for the aforementioned reason of a friend playing on the server, in which case said friend can explain the rules to him personally. Translating the rules is hard, and if there's just a single problem in the translation, people will abuse that mistranslation and claim it to be allowed according to the rules.

Even if you could write the rules without any mistranslations, it'd be too much and require a lot of manpower to write down in a bunch of different languages. Zarp is not a multi-language server, and I see no need for it to become one if 1/3rd of the entire population supposedly speaks English. There are more than enough Spanish, French, or whatnot communities they can go to for a more fun and pleasant DarkRP experience.

We got so many type of people in that server who would like to help that community. DeathRazor,Paramontana,Me,xSeppe,Beaver,Johnny Smith,Mario,Slapy,Scorpion,JokerMan so many of the ZARP community member could talk couple languages that will help us

I'm not trying to sound mean or anything along those lines, but even if they speak other languages, the risks of errors in the translation and people taking advantage of those are too high. If someone does not understand enough english to read the rules then they should not be playing the server. It would only cause problems as there would be no way to correct said players actions if they broke a rule.

Another note, there is an abundance of servers out there for a bunch of languages. French servers being the most abundant.

Only a couple languages may not have servers which speak their language, and they might be very few in our community. It would take several people to translate and the devs to implement their translations into the motd. Seems steep for a very small portion of the community.

There's not actually too many popular English DarkRP servers on Zarp's scale, it's mostly French, maybe german servers.

The only way I see this suggestion going anywhere would be if we actually attracted more non-english speaking players and there was a lot of suggestions coming in. It would take suggestions upon suggestions I think for this to be remotely added.
