Server Name: ZARP SSRP Server 1 & 2.

Suggestion Title: Removal of PM Chat

What I'm suggesting :

We remove PM chat, and add in a phone messaging system, similar to the Iphone or Android, or Windows Phone. It would be in your inventory on every job, unless we add rules that do not allow that job to have a phone. We'd use the phone, and we can pick the "Messaging" App, and choose from a list of players, or we can pick from our friends list. We could send friend requests to other players, allowing easy messaging to the player. I've seen this system in some SSRP servers but not many, it would make our server REALLY stand out.

Here is a picture of what it could look like, except not a watch dogs phone.



How would it benefit the server: Make the server stand out, add a more enjoyable roleplaying aspect, and let players interact more reality like.

Potential Issues/Exploits: None that I can see.

Additional notes:

Might look quite useless to some people, personally I like it as it would definately add to the roleplay experience of the server.

One question tho, how can you see someone have messagin you when you not holding your phone?

Would be great but we'd have people screaming "OMG TOO COMPLICATED I WANT OLD SYSTEM BACK"

Have both then the users can chose obviously the phone will have more options yet +Support for both

Make it more realistic in which you don't have notifications appearing before your eyes.
It's a matter of life or death; You either hear the sound of the nokia ringing or you don't hear it leading to your own death.

Perhaps there could be instead of it being in the inventory, it would be on the screen hiding under the screen, when you hover over it, then the phone can be used fully, with applications, messaging, etc.

That looks like a really good idea and would make RP a lot more fun

It's a good idea but I just think it would take wayyyy too long to message someone compared to /pm. If you implemented this and kept /pm it would be an amazing addition.

it would be cool to have like rooms,
like your own room of gangs, so if you type in the chat all members can check it out.
or just pm people true the phone.

Press and Hold "C", and then proceed to click on a phone icon.
Implementing calling with this would be awesome as well. You can call someone while having your phone out, so say you want to talk to your friend who's across the map. You can take out your phone and call him. People around you will hear what you say, but not what your friend says. Vice-Versa on his end. Anyone around him can hear him talking, but not you talking.

I honestly dont like the idea.

I like the pm function and would like to keep it.

I WILL ONLY SUPPORT THIS SUGGESTION IF THE PHONE CAN BE USED TO PLAY SNAKE.
