TOPIC: [SSRP] NEW SSRP server suggestion!

Hi guys,

As I was playing these last months on SSRP, I heard alot of players ask about "server wipes" or "resets",
that got me thinking, since most goals are reached in SSRP by now for many many players I'd love to see the following happen:

A SSRP server with a yearly wipe.. Like everything gone. Back to starting money, no items.. just the little cash and the jobs. This should be a replacement for SSRP server 2 or a totally new server in my opinion, since I do like the endless gameplay from time to time, but also love a little competition.

So.. for this idea, I made a little design these last couple of days for your visualization of the "competition" part of the SSRP server. You can find it in the spoiler box under this line of text.


As you can see in the above image, the top 5 players are recorded in the graph so you can actually track their progress in:

• in-game money,
• total score
• and game time.

This all with a extra mention of the current #1 overall player of the SSRP server, because that is a highly respected place to land on!

Under all that information is a little short list of the current top 3 players with some of the graph data simplified, and a nice donut chart to show how much of each "rate section" (RP-cash, total score, gametime) is weighing on the total 100% of their "rating" (Total score of RP-cash + total score + game time in which players are rated on).

Well, now you might question yourself.. Why would Zarp benefit from this?
I think more players than just the ones who i met and myself are getting a bit bored of the current endless gameplay of our SSRP servers.. Personally I like a bit of competition, and only money-farming isn't cutting it for me. So I think this regular SSRP gameserver with yearly resets and a top 5 has some nice goals set for the players... I mean if I could beat that annoying no-life kid on #1 after quite some time and end the year as king of the server, I would be very happy and looking forward to the next round.

And the best thing... Its almost 100% free of exploits, the only thing I could think of right now would be online AFK'ers and RDM'ing score-farmers... But since we have a great staff team this problem shouldn't be too big.

I'd love to hear some feedback, and any points that should be updated in the design are also welcome!

The idea is to have this a totally lose server, not linked with the current one FYI.

I like the idea, but I have just started playing DarkRP and be sad if the server reset itself.

Yeah wipe server 1 or 2 so that those that want to keep their money can stay on one, and UNlink the servers so that the money is separate.

I like the idea, it would be nice that tracking other people's scores is possible, it would help gangs alot and should increase your motivatie to play.
