Removal of Bad Jobs being able to vote (for Police specifically)
I'm going to keep this short, over the last few days, I have noticed the lack of Police roaming the streets, which I believe is due to the amount of thieves, gangsters (etc) that vote no, so that they may print, do drugs and break laws freely. I believe that this ruins the roleplay experience and can be abused. Having no police on the streets means that law breaking is more likely to pass.

Server Name: ZARP - DarkRP 1&2.

Suggestion Title: Removal of Bad Jobs being able to vote.

How would it benefit the server: Changing this would benefit the server and bring in further realism and greater roleplay, this will also stabilize the balance of power between good and bad within the server, as well as somewhat correcting the economy within the server (thieves, gangsters, drug dealers etc and currently print and create drugs without there being police to stop them, allowing them to continuously gain money).

Potential Issues/Exploits: Not that I can currently think of, but be sure to reply to this topic with them.

Additional notes: A suggestion like this may have been created in the past, but it's worth a shot (this thread may be edited in the future). This suggestion also brings in a more realistic approach, as members of the public (IRL) do not need to vote for an individual to become a member of the Police force.

I think thats lots of people would abuse the fact they have access to a guns and weapons just by clicking a button ;-; Because if a gangstar got arrested, and he had a friend they could just go as a cop, un-arrest everyone in the prison then turn back to gangstar and have a nice new pistol to his collection but I like the fact how gangstars wouldn't be able to print as easily.

Heard you mention this earlier on server one. I do agree with this but I did tell you that I'd set anyone that has been denied to be police 3 - 5 times. Yes people are mingy with the voting system but that meanswould be abused WAY to much. But then again we need a balance of players as different jobs

The job would be abused, and in the end do way more bad then good.

Imo this is a bad idea.

If you want to be chosen as Police you must be chosen by public. It was always like this and it should stay as it is. This would be abused way too much.

I have read all statements again and again and I do feel it will be abused. However, I do believe Blocked' idea is sound, will give increased realism and will less likely be abused.

I will edit the original thread to Blocked' idea when I am on my computer, unless he says otherwise.
