Suggestion Title:Make printers not disappear

How would it benefit the server: Make people not able to disconnect and reconnect just to make they're printers go away
And this would be able to let people make much bigger printer farms

Potential Issues/Exploits:Add a little more lag ? i don't know

Wrong template! use the one illusioN gave you please. -SUPPORT: Would mean printers would eventually take over the server and we would be living in a world of printer, That would mean money is pointless...

Other reasons!
1.) Overlapping printers!
2.) Will cause server lag possibly!
3.) Many obvious reasons as to why I am baffled this is even a suggestion!

You should edit your suggestion to be printers don't disappear for 15 minutes after someone disconnects...

I dont think this should be added cuz you can just put a printer, reconnect and keep doing that until u get shitloads of printers and get money super fast

Well i come from a server which had this and it wasnt bad at all. it didnt make a huge lag and its not like you will base for ever at somepoint you will leave or get raided

It's really easy to do.

It stops people DCing amd rejoining.

I don't understand why printers would "take over the server", it crashes every hour anyway.

15 minutes, then they disapp ear. Let's raiders get their money's worth. When I raid a base its 50/50 whether they dc and rejoin or not.

I think this is a great idea actually, try making it so printers don't despawn at all when a player disconnects but when he comes back he CAN'T spawn new ones, only way to spawn new ones is if old ones are destroyed!

Just imagine the amount of different people playing on Zarp. Every person can buy 4 printers, even more if you're a VIP. Now, multiply the amount of different people with 4. Yeah, a lot of printers. Can you also imagine the sheer amount of lag that comes from having so many printers print at the same time? Trust me, it's gonna be a lot if all the printers stay instead of despawning. I don't agree on them being there until they're broken, but maybe that they despawn 15 minutes after the owner left, forcing you to destroy them yourself if you don't want anyone getting money from it.

i think this might be a great idea since my game crashes every 10 min from darkrp , i really get annoyed then having to pay 500k for getting a lot of printers and fully upgrade them , maybe a 7 min timer , if the owner doesn't come back while that time they despawn .

This is a nice suggest and I'm sure everyone is thankful that you care enough to make suggestions to improve the server. The one reason this wouldn't be a great idea is because of the amount of lag that would be caused by it we have 35-40 people (server 1) when the server is dead, that's a lot. 40*4 for none VIP users that's 160 printers at any given time. I think the point you are trying to get to is people DC'ing when they lose their printers which Isn't really to much of a problem besides the odd asshat that doesn't want to play fair.

The argument of printer saturation is frankly, a fallacy. Printers don't have to stick around forever, they can despawn after 5-10 minutes. Its totally doable, old ZARP used to do it. We need to punish the people who don't play fair.

To be honest, if we're seriously considering server performance being bad, it's time to buy a new server.
