Suggestion Title: AFK Kicker Suggestion Details: The implementation of an AFK slayer / Kicker. After x seconds of being AFK a player is slain automatically. If they are slain 3 rounds in a row for being AFK they are automatically kicked. I'm unsure if there is anything lurking around on the internet already made but if not, perhaps you could edit the AFK system built into TTT to suit Deathrun as it seems quite good. How would it benefit the server: It would save the staff team a large portion of time as dealing with AFK players is a major issue on the servers. Potential Issues/Exploits: None that I can think of at this time. Note: I have heard there is already an AFK kicker but it just takes a very long time for it to do anything. (I have yet to see any automatic kicks for players being AFK) If so you could obviously use that. |

In my opinion, laziness is not a good reason to not add something to the server, obviously if there are any issues or exploits then that would be another story but unless you would like to present any issues you see with the idea instead of making an ignorant comment like that to save time finding / coding an addon. This is to save time and automate the process. It would remove the need to slay AFKs every round, keep a note of who has been AFK and finally, remove the need to kick them if they have been AFK for 3 or so rounds. Many staff members agree that dealing with AFK players is the most common and time consuming issue on the server, if this idea was implemented it would abolish the problem letting the staff members have more fun, have less to deal with, but also to still solve the problem with AFK players. |
