Suggestion Title: Nerfing Craftables Further

How would it benefit the server:
Anyway, I feel that craftable explosions need a nerf. Why, you may ask? The fact that they can potentially destroy entire bases in one shot. This puts newer players at an extreme disadvantage as every single bit of their bases can be blown to smithereens by more experiences players. This shifts the power of the server as a whole, putting the veteran players in command. It also takes all the skill out of raiding, as with one click you can enter a base, it's no fun for the raider or the raided (Who may feel like he/she has been cheated out of their stuff.) I believe they don't have to be removed, but nerfed. DarthVader suggested that they should only be capable of destroying fading doors, a suggestion, if possible, I feel is crucial to bring some fun back into raiding. Another suggestion is to make it so you can't holster them at all, meaning that people would be very choosy about which bases they blow up, potentially meaning they leave smaller bases alone.

Anyway, that's all from me. Credit goes to DarthVader for the suggestions.

Well, to be honest, the most useful and best explosive weapon is the Milkor.

It's cheap, and spammable, meaning you can fire 6-7 shots in a matter of seconds.

It's not that expesnive, and only requires some money to make.


It's a Major +Support from me.

These explosive weapons are unfair to new comers to the community.

They turn away players coming on for a good Role Play Session.

Let's be honest, most of the people that support these explosive weapons are the ones that are using them.
I say there should be a EMP Device that can block incoming Missile Strikes, and explosions near the designated area upon placement, or remove these things once and for all.


I remember back in the day, Raiding used to be a fun task, Gang Vs. Empire, With good ol' fassioned lock picks and keypads, not a massive missile that removes the point of even having the Hacker and Locksmith Skills.

Back in my day, raids needed a reason... and were only allowed one fading door for entrance.

And frankly, I believe that explosive weapons taking down everything isn't fun. Besides, the server can suffer massive lag from nearly 30 props being blow up and flying around.

I only come on Late nights to RP to make some cash from money printing in a tiny base which you won't even notice.

If I try to RP a little Gang v Gang etc. It all ends in a matter of seconds when my entire base goes up in flames. Not worth the effort making a base look decorative and defensive when it can just be smashed by someone who crafted for about 1 hour.

It's literally a Free Ticket to my money printers when I put ages into building and defensive structures.

I Agree, the explosive's are WAY tooo Strong, i made my first orbital strike and i was okay lets test it, i blow up a base but i also killed myselfe even i was 100 Ft away !! i was like this game is no longer roleplaying, its just terrorism :D

or changes could be made to the C4, like defusing the C4 so it doesent blow up.. this allowed players to defend theire base, but they got to be fast, this means also they got to kill the raiders before they can defuse it..

But the milkor & so on has to be removed.. wayy to overpowerd, ive seen also in the m9k weapons mod, that there are more than 1 cool looking machine guns so instead of adding these overpowered bombing weapons they should add more cool guns instead and making them a bit better so it makes people try and craft these instead of the bombing weapons...

I like this but I wonder..

Would it be possible to only allow explosives to dismantle/break props that are fading doors and keep the damage radius the same on players.
Instead of having every weapon system the possibility to tare apart a base, grant the Orbital Strike alone this power.

This'll also reduce the very frustrating propblocks caused by explosives 85% of the time and lag due to less props spazzing out in a tight space.

Personally, I think the explosives are fine.

The only bad thing is when the whole server lags when a giant base gets an orbital strike in the center.

but i still think as a player that uses alot of explosives i think myselfe explosions are too overpowerd...
its pretty sick to use but if it gets used on ya, you are screwed !!
