Server Name: I'm pretty sure it's ZARP.
Suggestion Title: Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I don't like writing long passages of text, so I'll attempt to keep this suggestion relatively short. I believe that in some occasions, the staff on this spectacularly coded server put the rules before the enjoyment of the users. If an action even slightly infringes on a rule, it's instantly shut down, most times with a warning issued to the guilty. I'm talking about something that would improve RP, or the enjoyment of users, being shutdown because of the rules disallowing it. This is my point. Staff should put fun before rules (As long as it doesn't harm anyone else on the server.) The wonderful thing about humans over robots is that we can deviant from paths set from us, we can show compassion, mercy, regret, all emotions that have nothing to do with darkRP, but my point is, we as human beings CAN bend rules, we CAN realize when something isn't harming anyone and is improving peoples enjoyment. I have prepared an example for you here: X wants to build a little radio shack to use as a base to play music in, he plans to take requests and play high quality music, he doesn't go into a building as the lack of attention and positioning would cause no one to visit him. Admin C comes over and says it's not allowed. X cries. I have left out the other half of the template as it is unneeded. |

The rules aren't supposed to be solid, a roleplay server should allow people to bend them for extended roleplay.
Will bring this up at the meeting. |

Finally someone who has made a post about what I have been saying for months. I keep telling people to use their own sense of judgement and understand if they are intentionally breaking rules or not. Only punish rulebreakers and not roleplayers.
