TOPIC: [FORUM] Disallow Forum Games

Hello,

This topic is in proposal of removal of the forum games section, and forum games all together. They are often used to bump up post count and are full of meaningless posts that really serve no purpose.

The forums are here to be used as a communication area, and for meaningful discussion.

There is no way, with our forum software, to disable post count additions in certain sections, so that is not a viable alternative.

Please provide your opinion on the matter, and vote on the poll above.

Hardly see why post count is a big deal anyway, most people on the forums should know the type of posts certain people make and if they are someone that intentionally bumps up their post count.

Although it does create topics that contain meaningless posts it is still a fun way that the community has to communicate. I mean lets be honest this is a forum and not a complaint centre which is what it would primarily be if we removed this section.

That's just my viewpoint take from it what you will.

I feel that forum games bring the community together.

Something that could combat the terrifying post whores could be to set rules that forum games must follow for example 1 post per person a day on a forum game. If that is the primary reason for making this poll.
