TOPIC: Anti-Carmageddon idea

How would it benefit the server/why do you want this to be added?:
Right now everyone is getting killed by cars and admins are unable to effectively counter it.

Could this be exploited in anyway, and if, how could we make it non-exploitable?:
Not that i know of.

Additional notes:
So anyone playing on the DarkRP server lately will have noticed this;
Cars running people over and admins being WAY too late to respond to it due to the massive flow of F1 reports.

People do it on purpose too, there's no way to punish them anyway.

This is my solution:



- Player can buy a driver's license for 20k (Sounds like much to some but that's nothing)

- Every 5 kills someone gets with a vehicle, he loses his license.

- Without a license, players can't enter/spawn vehicles (Choosing if they can' t enter or spawn at all is up to you).

- Players can only buy 1 or 2 license(s) per 5 hours.
Why? To avoid rich people from just buying licenses over and over again.
Why 5 hours? Usually people only play in sessions of 3 hours maximum.

This means they'll lose their license and not be able to drive for that entire session, but they can still come back later and try again. I considered blocking out license purchasing for an entire day, but 24h is just a pain to work with, since you' d have to wait until the exact time the next day.

Yes, accidents happen.
Which is why you' re permitted to have more than one before you' re out.
See, the thing is that everyone drives like an absolute maniac.
They just hold W until they hit a wall, steer a little and continue holding W.
This is what kills people
And it's not even too harsh even if those 5 times were accidents, plenty of players travel on foot.
Cars are a mere extra, but an extra that can be used as the most overpowered and untrackable weapon.

This would be a good idea, a few things should be changed though

I disagree strongly with this, irl you wouldn't roam the roads randomly and I prefer it.

Also, you should be able to buy as many licenses as you like but they should rise in price and the cooldown of the price being high before it goes low should be around 5 hours

I love this idea, A Few Things 20k? that small amount, by the time someone will actually buy a car, they should have 20k extra I say a little more like 40k perhaps 50k, It's a little amount for some, but lots for others. I say This is a good Idea, The 3 hour thing too. I usually play sessions up to 6 hours. I know most of the time I don't drive but still. Another thing you should be able to by the Driver Licence from the mayor.Great Idea dude.

That could just be good though. Cars and licenses would be exclusively used by the higher tier.
Adds some depth to the whole "upgrade yourself and your cash" thing.

Yeah they should stay off the roads but most of the kills by cars right now are happening by big SUV trucks that just fly out of the road because of reckless driving.

Maybe roadkill victims could use a command to pardon a driver if it wasn't their fault, taking one kill off the counter.
Not sure if that's possible, though.

Good: The Police could stop you easily if you where wanted, so: They shoot your tiers > Battering Ram your car > Arrest you.
Bad: The Thief, Godfather, Gangster or any other bad could : Shoot your tiers > kill you > sell your car.
There are lots of Goods and Bads to this " tiers popping" I only said the most obvious ones.

Shooting out the tires would be awesome, yeah.

But probably not possible.
They'd have to get entirely new addon creators etc. to make it, and that is not simple.

+Support for car licenses, this will decrease car minges alot.
